Call of Duty

This project required a military feel oriented around the call to serve within the Church environment, however it was not to display violence, or methods of violence (guns, blood, bombing etc.) To solve this, I focused on the human side of war, particularly on those who had previously served.
This led to concepts of boots, helmets and the Medal of Honor, and ultimately settled on the boot imagery. It was decided that boots also promoted a sense of “get your boots on and get going!” which would be invaluable when paired with the Pastors sermons calling for action.
